ABOUT US

The Teachers of Tomorrow was first established in 2001 in The City College of New York.

It is a student organization whose goal is to provide activities and opportunities

for the benefit of CCNY students preparing to teach.

The club consists of a student-elected board with the

support of one faculty adviser whom are responsible for managing the organization.

The organization emphasizes preparation for teaching, obtaining a teacher's certification and also building a bridge from pre-service to in-service teaching. We accomplish this by meeting regularly in informal sessions during club hours, usually Thursdays between 12 pm and 2pm (club hours) in

NAC 3/226.

Food is served and students will get to know each other in open discussions and

in forums where speakers are invited to present and/or answer questions about

education related topics.
